Rt's Neighborhood - Denton

Based on my experience, this is the top spot in Denton for watching sports. The customers are welcoming, and the bartenders are exceptional.

The management at this establishment is surprisingly unprofessional. Having worked in and managed bars for 25 years, I was taken aback by the way their manager treated me during my visit. The ventilation in the place is quite poor, making the cigarette smoke overwhelming after a while; my eyes started to burn from it. At one point, the bartender took my beer away and told me, "You've had enough!" To clarify, I had walked there from my apartment, was fully lucid after only three beers, and there was a customer next to me who was clearly inebriated and kept being served without issue. My concerns fell on deaf ears when I spoke to the manager, who unfortunately didn’t help the situation at all.

They play their music loudly enough for all the neighbors to hear. The food used to be good, but not anymore. Just focus on improving the food and stop the noise. We would return for that.

This classic and fun college sports bar offers great prices and features fantastic bartenders. It's one of our favorite late-night spots where we can enjoy a game of pool or just relax and have a good time.
