Emily's Coffee - Denver

Delicious breakfast food on the go! This cafe provides students who are practicing to be chefs with on-site job training. Their menu includes everything from breakfast and lunch to espresso beverages pastries. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat after doing some business downtown. Toni made my breakfast burrito, and it was HEAVEN! Great costumer service, great food! This was my first experience with Emily's Cafe, and I will definitely be back!

Best tasting americanos. The coffee doesn't taste burnt at all like other cafes. Plus the workers are awesome.

What is better than helping out others and eating great food. Inexpensive and simple. We had verde chili, an omelet, ribs, and a burrito. All were excellent. Feels like a school cafeteria, nothing fancy.

Denver is known for its lack of good espresso and latte. In my search for a good morning latte I've been to many Denver coffee shops, and this morning I tried Emily's. It's the best I've found Denver. My 5 star rating is relative. In Chicago (where you can go to Intelligentia) or San Francisco (where you can go to Blue Bottle), Emily's would be a 4 star. But in Denver, it's a clear cut above other places like Dazbog. The setting is not at *all* upscale, but its complete lack of pretension is nice. It's just a unaffected nice place to get an excellent latte.
