Giorgio's Ny Pizzeria - Denver

The pizza was well-made, featuring a crispy, crunchy crust typical of thin-style pizzas. Unlike many other pizzerias that serve thick, chewy, and sometimes rubbery crusts, this place truly delivers on the New York style. You can actually hear the crunch when you bite into it, and there’s just a hint of a slightly burnt flavor in the dough. The Greek salad was a straightforward offering with traditional dressing—it really satisfied our cravings. The restaurant has been around for about six and a half years; it used to be a pizza place called Little Ricci's, I believe. I asked for a takeout menu, but they are currently in the process of ordering new ones. They have a lunch special where you can get two cheese slices and a drink for $6.00, and I think extra toppings are 50 cents each, though I’m not entirely sure. Overall, this is one of my favorite spots for pizza.

However, the cheese pizza, which is a staple of NY-style, didn’t justify the wait. There was way too much sauce, and the herbs were overwhelming, making it hard to taste the cheese at all. I’m willing to give them another chance on a less busy night. If you plan to visit with a group, make sure to order ahead! Perhaps next time, if we wait an extra 20 minutes after arriving, they might throw in a complimentary soda or something. They were so close to earning 5 stars!

One of the best pizza places in Denver! The food is delicious, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal and spend time with family and friends.

Great pizza, well worth the wait. I used to live near New York City, I have been to pizza place after pizza place claiming to have New York Style pizza, this is the first place that I have eaten pizza at in the west that reminds me of New York Style pizza. My only warning, is that the pizza does take a while to be made because of the special care to dough and quality. But like their ten signs in the parlor say, it is well worth the wait. Its a little on the expensive side, but again, well worth the price. Stop in at this pizzeria if you are missing the east or if you want a very close interpretation of New York Style pizza.

Two words: Garlic Knots....you want these crispy, fluffy, chewy, intensely garlicky puffs in your mouth! The pizza is fresh and tasty. The crust has nice crispy edges and a soft chewy center. The staff has always been friendly and takes really good care of us when we eat here. Our cups are never empty and the place is small enough that a quick smile and some eye contact will have a server at your side in no time! If you want someplace cozy for a meal with friends or the family, this is a great little place to visit.
