The Metropolitan Grill - Denver

You need to be aware...on concert nights at Ball Arena, they only offer a limited menu....it's not reflected on Open Table or the website. It is staffed by culinary students from Metro State and they do a good job. Restaurant is very close to Ball Arena.

This restaurant is located in a hotel on the Metro State campus. We stayed there based on its proximity to Ball Arena. Many of the employees are hospitality program students. The restaurant has a little style, but is not fancy. The menu is primarily burgers, sandwiches, bowls and salads. The food was good, but not interesting. Our server, Kyle I believe, was outstanding.

Terrible service. Got our appetizer before waters. And our food before our drinks. Waiter did not come back with ketchup. Order 2 of the same drink and they tasted and looked different.

This is the perfect place to grab some food and cocktails before a show at Ball Arena. They offer valet parking that is reasonable and convenient. I anticipated along wait for my car at the end of the night buy my car was already up front.

Our server was great. The food is okay. We came for the flatbread but when we arrived we learned their oven was broken. We also ordered espresso martinis and learned they did not have the ingredients.
