Williams & Graham - Denver

I went for the second time not long ago with my roommate. As always, the food was amazing, and the server 's had a wonderful attitude! While a bit pricey (for us), it 's well worth it as the occasional treat. My only complaint is that the person who checked us in asked both my roommate and I back to back if we went by the names on our ID 's. We are both transgender. Despite me making the reservation under my preferred name, and correcting her when she said my dead name out loud, she still did the same thing to my roommate who also had to correct her. That was unfortunately very uncomfortable and put a slight damper on the night that I haven 't been able to stop thinking about since. Even in a more understanding neighborhood like Denver, it 's still an unpleasant experience when a trans person has their dead name announced out loud and other people in the room hear us having to correct someone. I would suggest in the future, rather than saying You go by -insert name on ID here-? simply asking What is your name? It will help avoid uncomfortable situations and confusion in the future, and help Transgender customers who have not yet been able to legally change their name 's to feel welcome and safe. If not for that I would 've given the experience 5 Stars, and I hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.

Is always delightful. The bartender prepares anything you have on mind! And the food is exquisite, such a good experience!

Wonderful experience!! Delicious cocktails!! The most friendly bartenders!! Highly recommend for a fun date night. Must try the deviled eggs.

One of the best speakeasys I've been to. Amazing custom cocktails, heavily themed aesthetic and one of the best bartenders we've had. Kenny was out bartender and if you get him you are in for a treat. He made our experience above and beyond and even gave us some local suggestions for our stay in Denver. In addition to the libations, W&G also has a fairly priced menu full of high quality and upper scale dishes. Get the Mac and cheese, you will not be disappointed.
