Coda Lounge - Des Moines

My wife and I stayed here after a play in the civic center. we ordered an appetizer and cocktails. our appetizer was cranberry and tomaten bruschetta and it was delicious. I had the patron tequila daisy while my wife ordered coffee with amaretto. the daisy was described as a raised margarita and the description suitable. the coffee of my wife was more like an espresso with a taste that overwhelmed the amaretto. our server seemed very knowledgeable about the drinks and appetizers.

Great bartender, friendly and personal. beautiful looking lounge to sit back and enjoy some cocktails with friends.

I enjoyed my dinner. had the laughs and some cocktails. both were very good. the salmon was cooked nicely and not the little dry, but not what I would call sea mushrooms were an interesting pairing. I'd like to have a lot more, but that's me. the mosque muel was very good. fresh and not exaggerated. smoked old-fashioned was different, but pleasant.

Had an amazing time with Chloe and Adam at the Coda lounge bar. They were such a pleasure to be around, making a long, stressful day that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!!

Well stocked, clean bar. All the food I've tried from here is delicious, each dish a work of art in which the side complements the entree perfectly in a a symphony of flavor. The drinks are fantastic and varied, second only to the wonderful staff behind the bar. Carlos, Kimberly and Tinisha are all very knowledgeable, personable, make very good drinks and have added to the atmosphere.
