Cub Club - Des Moines

Great place to sit over the field, sip coffee, and have a good breakfast. Great view of the field and the coffee is cheap and tasty! Definitely recommend if you are just visiting Des monies! And it's not to busy either great service!

Nice casual café with friendly service. Weekday staff is excellent! It's so funny to have a good (and inexpensive) meal while watching over the ball park. Much coffee too!

We hit up Cub Club after the Farmer's Market on Saturday. It is a seat yourself place and we got a table overlooking the ball field. There were only three other tables besides us. We were brought coffee right away. We ordered hash and eggs with hashbrowns and an english muffin, whole hog omelette (bacon, sausage and ham with rye toast and a side of a blueberry pancake. They make your food to order so it did take a little while; nothing done up ahead of time. But we watched the people folding up the tarp on the field while we were waiting.Our food came out and it was really good; your typical breakfast fare. The bill came to $16.97 for the two breakfasts, side of pancake and coffee (only 50 cents!! We now are ready to come back and try lunch. (Christa

A good view of the ballpark many people eat breakfast here during the week it's open year-round many people also will have lunch and you can get in during the games but there's some special conditions to do so. There is lots of seating during the non baseball game times if you wanted to take a small group and meet for breakfast or lunch it's an okay place
