Freedom Blend Coffee - Des Moines

This café is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! The coffee was decent, and I especially enjoyed the chai tea latte with oat milk—it's great to see plant-based milk options available. There are plenty of pastries and food choices too. I visited on a Saturday and it was quite busy, which is understandable given how lovely the place is! The building itself is stunning, making it ideal for both group meetings and intimate coffee dates. The decor is beautifully designed, resembling a cozy cabin resort, and it feels both spacious and inviting. There's even a conference area available. I can't wait to return soon to sample more of their coffee drinks. Highly recommended!

Excellent cafe. Such a nice interior with many seating options. Free wifi, too! The coffee didn't taste out of this world or anything but it was economical and satisfactory. I will note that this cafe is very explicity a Christian cafe. I personally thought it was nice because of my spiritual background but you may not enjoy it if religion is not your thing. Overall, cool spot for coffee. Bigger bonus if you're into faith.

Wow honestly how did I not know about this cafe sooner? Just went here for the second time today and absolutely loved it! Love the Christian music they play and how they are for a cause. Staff is always super kind! I ordered a oat milk latte both times and it was well made! I feel like oat milk lattes are a huge hit or miss and they definitely made it a hit here. I also ordered the vegetarian burrito and it was super good! I would recommend this place. Also the environment was super cozy and warm. All the wood gives it a great cabin feel.

The coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I also discovered that they support a local training program, which shows that they truly care about their community.

Comfortable, great atmosphere, and good food/coffee. A great place to study or work or meet with people too!
