Noodles Pasta Sandwich Shop

Very small, locally owned Italian type space. We go there for the pasta and are rarely disappointed. No atmosphere, but good food. They order at the counter and get it out. The young staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Very inexpensive place to go for decent pasta. Really good cheese bread, nice staff and very cozy. My only complaint is her sauce on her spaghetti and stuff. A little too sweet/ tangie for me. I like my tomatoes.

Delicious chicken parm!! Chicken was beautiful and delicate. It had to be baked. Marinara is tasteful and perfectly prepared pasta. Very nice staff! I will be back to try more about the menu!!

Noodles have the best sauce in town! I love her stuffed paprika! I love their sausage links, their grinders, the pasta is amazing, they are family friendly people!

Great conversation about how had been in family for years and atmosphere is casual ordered to go 2 10 guinea grinders w/ fries. I highly recommend although menu makes it seem as 2 different dishes i would recommend sizes be put on board and only one name either Italian or Guinea would under that put the size options prices. Overall owner seems busy but seemed to make time to share the history of her family's restaurant.

Haven't lived in Des Moines in 4 years, and totally miss Noodles. Always good food at a good price. Loved the sauce with a little bit of heat. Will be visiting next time I'm in town.
