Sandpiper Cove - Destin

I can't recommend this fantastic place enough! The accommodations are incredible, featuring both front and back porches. It was very clean, and our room (8121) was excellent, making great use of the space. The kitchenette was a nice touch, and there was plenty of seating for the four of us plus a guest. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. Plus, the private beach is simply stunning and not at all crowded.

This place was absolutely amazing! The complex is well-maintained and offers a variety of bedroom options, along with several pools situated conveniently throughout the property to save you from long walks. There's also a private gated beach access with parking and a snack bar. Our condo was beautifully decorated and well-kept, and the welcome supplies provided were a great convenience, allowing us to avoid rushing to the store for essentials—except for food, of course. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and everyone we encountered who lived in the complex was incredibly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

I highly recommend renting a golf cart if your budget allows, as the trek to and from the beach can be quite lengthy; you have to cross a major intersection. We opted to drive our vehicle each time, which was a bit cumbersome. My only drawback would be the price—Sandpiper Cove can be quite expensive, and some of the condos are in need of updates. However, overall, we had a great stay and would certainly recommend it to families looking for a vacation spot.

Was worth it. If you don't mind packing a little beach bag and crossing the street to get to the beach. We really enjoyed it and I can't wait to go back

Unit #4201My wife and I have made a few trips to the beach over the years. This was our first stay at Sandpiper Cove, it did not disappoint. Very cost effective, 4min walk to the private beach, friendly security, quiet neighborhood, and served our needs perfectly. A few things to know:4201 has complimentary beach chair set with umbrella but you will need to meet the chair boys at the beach each day at 8:45am to reserve your set. Very easy to do and takes 12min that’s including walk to and from.4201 is a water view of the canal and we saw fish, turtles, ducks all off the back balcony.parking is a little snug for my F150, but didn’t have issue having a spot when needed.has had a nice renovation and everything worked as it should. A few minor things could be nit picked, but it’s obvious the owner has put money back into the unit.you will need to bring all toiletries for sure; Laundry and dish soap too.had plenty of bathroom towels for the 2 of us for a 6 day stay.It’s a tight squeeze in the bedroom so we just left our luggage in the living room. Only had a few hangers in the closet$5 golf club rental for the day, that was a lot of fun.4of 5 stars because nothing is perfect.We would 100% consider coming back in the future and will recommend this unit at Sandpiper Cove to others.
