Thai Delights - Destin

Jasmin is a Thai restaurant located 5 minutes away and earns 5 stars. It is more of a mall food option. I have dined here several times and it has never been more than okay. Today, I ordered the red curry with chicken and the panang curry with shrimp. Both curries had a burnt smell to them. The shrimp curry did not have the sweetness I was expecting, as the shrimp were small salad shrimp. The lunch also came with a greasy spring roll and soft, mushy cheese on top of the rice in the container, which was not ideal. I specifically asked for both orders to be Thai spicy, as hot as possible, but it was not spicy at all. The total came to $30, which was not too expensive but definitely not worth it. I have never had such disappointing red and panang curries before. I will not be returning to Jasmin. There are much better Thai restaurants like Jasmine Thai Basil that I would recommend instead.

My entire meal was terrible and I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction. They insisted on me bringing the food back, which was not convenient for me. The pad thai was overly greasy and the chicken tasted like leather. The egg rolls were also greasy and the crab Rangoon was the worst dish I have ever had. I don't understand how this restaurant has such high ratings, as the food was awful. Maybe only clueless tourists who don't know any better contribute to their positive reviews.

The bark and meatball soup was especially at a level three heat that comes with a hauch of sweet that they give them a possibility to go all the way to four! and they give you a lot of meat! pad thai was also great with a great amount of protein. of houston and that's all!

I ordered pad Thai. If you're looking for authentic Thai this is not it. If you don't like food full of spice this might be for you. Good amount of food for price.
