Detroit One Coney Island

If no stars was an option I’d put 0. We got some classic coney dogs later in the night since most kitchens were closing. Our hot dogs were shard and rubbery. I’m not sure why we even decided this would be decent because it was extremely dirty, unkept, and 90 percent of the chairs and tables were broken in some way. Then a local who appeared to be on drugs or had a condition started throwing their wallet down on our table, rambling on and got offended when we said we were heading out. Extremely uncomfortable situation to be in and the food was awful to boot. Just don’t go here.

This place has changed SO MUCH, I guess new Owners or something however when I went in to order place was nasty hasn't been cleaned, it has a very strong funky smell and I'm not speaking of Mary Jane?.I never seen gloves while handling customers food which is very unsafe because of you so touch your face and everything else while working.Also the chilli is so horrible. This Coney Island is one of the oldest in the area and it should be respectful of representation and give old and new customers the real meaning of Quality.Growing up in the Projects I remember everything from the 80's on through so please please kill the sanitation smell and let's renovate for improvements and let's remember every employee representation is the most important thing that a customer remembers.

Tried to give them benefit of the doubt because the food can be really good but over this past year i have gotten sick immediately after eating here especially after hours. Said i give them a shot because its been a few months since i ate there…. Was going to town on my burger, when clear as day was what seems to be an eyelash hair and it is not mine. ughhh i could throw up. Never again. Never

First things first… the food is historically On Point! They did not disappoint.Now, service is also historically known for being slow during the late night hours.The atmosphere is pretty much a “be aware of your surroundings” location at night.So, weigh your options and choose wisely. Did I say that the food was the business?!?

You have to pay and wait for your food.. as we waited we realized how dirty the place was.. with dead plants on display. The employees were yelling and cursing at each other.. the smell of weed was coming from the kitchen.... we left when an employee said to another.. you can't serve that chicken it's been sitting in that pot all day.. my wife had ordered the chicken. I am so surprised to see positive reviews about this place.
