Írjon visszajelzéstUpon being seated, we immediately asked the waitress if we could have separate checks for our party of 5. She left to check with her manager, who subsequently approved it. The outdoor ambience was quite lovely when we first sat down and we were ready for an enjoyable experience. However, the noise level was so high that we couldn't hear the waitress describe the offerings let alone each other. We asked to be moved inside to a less noisy atmosphere. The inside was far less crowded. We could hear each other, and proceeded to order our dinners. Things began to decline soon after when our waitress announced that she would not be able to provide separate checks because the computer was down. This did not seem believable as customers were arriving and leaving without an issue. We eventually spoke with the manager who provided other reasons. The computer outage was never mentioned by the manager leaving us to conclude that we had been lied to. We ordered our dinners, but there was a noticeable change in the frequency and level of service to our table. We had to ask more than once for water, bread, tortilla chips before receiving them. There were only 2 other tables being serviced in the dining room while we were there. The food was not up to standards for the prices charged. It should be noted that we did tip the waitress generously at 20% considering that we didn't wish to penalize her for our disappointing experience. When we left, the outdoor restaurant area was half empty so there was no apparent reason for the service we received. This was a rather disappointing dining experience and we would not recommend this restaurant.
The food and service were absolutely stellar. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. The staff was nothing short of amazing. The wait staff was so pleasant and even offered to take photos for us. The food was beyond amazing. The barbacoa goat and the tres pasta are highly recommended. The ambiance is the perfect blend of comfort and elegance and class. 10/10! Highly recommend!
We had a great Mother's Day brunch. We brought guests that had never been to the restaurant, and they loved it! The staff was accommodating for my party being smaller than what I reserved for.
Keeping in mind that it was Mother's Day and it was a limited MD brunch menu....waitress must have been overwhelmed because we ordered appetizers and she had the busser remove our plates. We challenged it and then he brought them back out. We were told that we could not stray from the menu, however we like salad with our meal. After talking to manager, waitress said that we could get salad for the table. We assumed that meant family style and ordered for the 7 of us. Salads were served individually plated at a charge of $7 per. We ordered bruschetta that was on the menu for $10 but we were charged $12 per. I challenged it and it was removed. I wonder how many others caught this as there was a lot of bruschetta on those serving trays. They also charge a credit card fee which a lot of places do these days. I would go back but not on an event day such as MD or Easter. I was looking forward to the full menu which was advertised when I made the reservation. It was too late to cancel by the time I found out. Food was okay....but that was basically because I wasn't thrilled with the choices. Family likes the Italian food (lasagna, Chicken Marsala) Mexican food was bland (Enchiladas).
Service was excellent as always. Me and my party all enjoyed our entrees. The sorbet left a lot to be desired . They put it in these frozen fruit molds sitting in bowls of ice. It made the sorbet hard/messy to was bc it was hard. So you had to hold the fruit down to get a spoonful of sorbet. The sorbet itself wasn't flavorful. Which was a surprise bc I'm used to excellent desserts from this restaurant. All in all though, it's still a great spot and I'll continue to come back.
