Signature Grill - Detroit

This was a bad experience at the Signature Grill. The first time we went, right before a Detroit Red Wings game, it was amazing! This time, we went before the final event at the Joe, and the place was about 1/3 filled. We noticed people waiting a long time, and some got up to leave because they were never waited on. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, and placed our order. We ordered two appetizers. One came out with the main course and the other they were out of. The waitress did not tell us they were out of it until she brought the main course. Out of our party of 4, only one of us had our order correct. One order came with cold, rock-hard fries that snapped like twigs. One order came with the wrong side, and the other order was a wrap stuffed with green beans, as they were out of asparagus. Mind you, we were not told they were out of asparagus, and when we told the waitress they were green beans, her exact words were, No, that 's asparagus . When I pulled a green bean out and said to her, That is a green bean , she said, Oh, sorry, we 're out of asparagus . I don 't like being treated like a liar and/or an idiot. We asked to speak to the manager, and she offered to give us free cocktails. We politely declined, as we had to be at the arena by 7, and it was about 6:30 when we got our food after our 5pm reservation. We will NEVER go back to the Signature Grill.

AMAZING!! I always recommend this as an option. Love the view, the staff, drinks and food.

Worst experience ever. Waited 20 min to get seated even with reservations. Waited 35 min before anyone came to ask us if we wanted water. 45 min after we ordered food and it NEVER came, we had to leave because our we were now late for concert. Nobody even came and said they were sorry for the wait!! Also, the lady who worked at desk was having shots with the guest at the other table! Very unprofessional!!

This was mu second visit to the restaurant. It was very disappointing compared to first visit. Everything we tried to order was out. We were there at 5 on a Wednesday. We were packed like sardines at our table and the only saving grace was our waitress. She was an angel even though they were clearly under staffed. I hope it was an off night and will try again in the future.

Always a warm atmosphere and great food. one of my favorite places to dine... the staff is knowledgeable about the menu and very personable.
