This business is no longer open. Please update your listing if you have closed your business. I wasted time and gas trying to find this place, which was difficult to locate (it is a sandwich place inside a bar).

The food at Big Al's was delicious and the fries on the side were also really good. The person who assisted us with our order was extremely friendly!

The restaurant is mediocre at best. The chicken breast in the sandwich was extremely dry. I suggest to the business that putting shredded lettuce on a hot sandwich makes it warm and soggy, which is not appetizing. The prices are too high and there are many better options available. I have given this place multiple chances, but it has consistently disappointed.

Spread is an awesome little deli in Midtown that crafts beautiful sandwiches. The ordering stand is quite small, but there is a large dining area to the left that I believe you can sit up. It is quite dark in there, but the aroma of a traditional deli fills the air. My go to is always a Reuben and Spread's was definitely very delightful. I walked in a little after lunch, and was shocked to not see a very large line, when asking for recommendations, they gladly helped guide me through the menu and it ultimately ended back at my favorite, the Reuben. You get chips with your sandwich, and it probably came out in less than 10 minutes. I have to say I wish my bread was a little more toasted, but the corn beef was not too salty definitely tender, and the sauerkraut really brought it all together. Don't forget you do get a cool pickle with your sandwich too!

Not bad. We came 20 mins after it said they were open but the door was locked. Had to call to get in and when I walked in they were out if a few different menu items. That said the sandwiches we got were pretty good. Hopefully next time we go they have everything on the menu
