Top China One - Detroit

I visited this restaurant for the first time today based on a friend's recommendation, and it did not disappoint! The flavors truly reminded me of the authentic Chinese restaurants from the past. I couldn't resist tasting my food before snapping a picture since I was so hungry! I would definitely come back. It seems to be a family-owned establishment. My only suggestion is to ensure that the almond chicken includes almonds and fresh green scallions. The gravy was delicious!

I ordered the House Special Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken with steamed rice, and Almond Boneless Chicken with fried rice. Every time, the food is exceptional. I would rate it A+.

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. My meal was prepared quickly, and they even surprised me with a complimentary 2-liter drink. The food was excellent, and I will definitely return! The staff is wonderful too.

First time visit after the moved from the other side of Woodward. Once hailed as best Chinese food place downtown. Went for dinner late one night. Food was good, well cooked for me (seasame chicken). Will return.

Atmosphere: This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. No place to sit, so take out is a must. No heat and it's freezing inside, so the wait was uncomfortable. Parking is in the rear of the building so I had to walk around the corner. Be safe walking through the alley. Food: I ordered vegetable fried rice, gravy and a bean sprout egg roll. It was pretty good, beside the gravy was a bit sweeter than I prefer. Service: Good, no complaints.. My rating is based on the food and service.
