Visions Detroit

The food at the restaurant was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. However, the portion sizes were on the smaller side - for example, the salmon dish was only around four ounces. We were still hungry after our main courses, so we ended up ordering an appetizer to satisfy our appetites. The server was friendly and provided helpful service.

Visions is a great place to grab a bite to eat before an event. When we went, we were in a huge hurry, so we got our food to go, which we ate on the way there. The hamburger was delicious and the Wings were really good too (different than most places, which was refreshing).

I expected the place to be more of restaurant than a bar but the staff was very friendly and the food that was available was quite tasty. Also, it is located within walking distance of Little Caesars Arena and Ford Field and parking was listed as $5 so that was great.

Glad we found this new place to go before Tiger games. Theresa was great and took good care of us! Good menu options for quick bite or full entree. We had steak bites for appetizers which were very tender and in a great zip sauce. Chicken wings are very good with many dipping sauce choices. Mac and cheese really good too! We will definitely be back. Reasonable prices and big portions. They offer specials on game day and parking too! This is just what the area needed!

This place is a bar in a litter-strewn bleak neighborhood. Once inside we found no one to check us in. The place is divided between an extremely loud bar on the right with some barren, dark tables on the left. We were the only diners in the place. All other patrons sat at the raucous bar. Once we were seated a server took our order and then a DJ cranked up a sound system so loud it overpowered the folks in the bar. The music was so loud, it was actually painful and the water glasses shook with the heavy bass. We considered leaving but really needed to eat. We convinced our server to pack up our order as takeout and we escaped. Visions presence on Open Table amounts to false advertising. I’m sure it serves a valuable purpose for the locals who regularly attend but it is in no way a restaurant for travelers.
