Cedar Inn Family - Devils Lake

I'll always try a place a few times before I say no more. Unfortunately, this is one of those places that either I had repeatedly had bad luck, or they are really not that good. If you're looking for decent service, they have it, but like for their food, every time my husband and I tried to eat here, the food was never good. The hashbrowns and toast had been soggy several times, and the eggs are tasteless. We went back to lunch on a few different days ordered burgers and again, there was not much taste.

Food is good and price is right. Great chicken fried steak.

For the money and food you can really not go wrong this is about your best meal in the city frankly

Stops here en route to Fargo, looking for a local restaurant vs a chain. Service was fast and friendly, but the food had problems. Orders hot beef sandwich, Walleye and Denver Omelette Sandwich. Hot beef was hard, Cole Slav was tasteless to the point of the edible, Walleye was dry and had bones at one end, Pommes were forgotten. Omelette sandwich but was good. We arrived at the end of lunch (at the closing) so we are very happy to be served.

Nice waitress...food looked good. I never learn. 3rd chance to prove something wouldn't be wrong with the food. Second time our family got hair in the food. Cooked right in the eggs. Unfortunate. Cooks..must wear gloves and hair nets..please no beards...this looked like a beard hair..and yup..cook had a beard and was scratching his face..no gloves..when we were paying our ticket.
