Cracker Barrel - Dickson

Our waitress was a top of her game, but people cooking gave us half what we ordered, but our waitress was there to help solve it and keep our drinks filled.

Shrimp, fries, coleslaw, turnip greens, biscuits,and hushpuppies! Sweet Tea on the side! Son had breakfast for lunch! That's how we do it in the south!

The food was absolutely delicious and there was more than enough for the two of us. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful. The hostess and servers were extremely friendly. They made sure that we had plenty of sweet tea at all times while we were eating. I even had plenty of leftovers that I took home and was able to eat the next day. It was a very nice experience.

Consistently delivers on the menu items that I go here for. It’s hard to beat the grilled catfish, with a squeeze of fresh lemon…pinto beans…and steamed broccoli along with a cornbread muffin to complement. Friendly service.

Mostly good southern cooking. The country fried chicken was very good, you get 4 whole pieces. Mashed potatoes were not cooked enough with big pieces of potatoes that were not done. All in all you can't beat cracker barrel for good down home cooking.
