A very good vegetarian restaurant located in one of the side lanes of main Marwari market. It was very difficult to locate the restaurant in a busy trading market. Food served is traditional which was a mix of assamese and marwari cuisine. Any person visiting Guwahati should atleast once visit this place. Service in the restaurant is good.

Being in Guwahati for more than 25 years whenever we go for our Lunch or dinner outside with family or extended family, Gopal is our first choice. This place I have seen and visited from the time it was in old house with old furniture and poorly dressed staff. But the food was so nice and tasty, it had crowd on all days, a rare in Guwahati. Now after renovation its an air conditioned good restaurant with same quality food at a value for money price. This is the best vegetarian restaurant in this part of the country.

Gopal is one of the wonderful fine dine family restaurant in guwahati. food having some marwadi touch.service is up to the mark, ambiance is good & food is the best.kadhai panner & dal fry is awesome. after the food Gulab jamun is must in gopal. advance booking required if you don’t want waiting even in weekdays also.
