Ron’s Fish House - DISTRICT HEIGHTS

I enjoyed the fried catfish, greens, and potato salad, as well as the krockerfische. All of the dishes were delicious.

I love his Potato Salad! I eat it at least 3 times a week. Sorry on the pic but this how it be…gone lol no left overs for me! I bring my lunch from home always top it off with a side of potato salad which always makes my meal complete! Try it and tell him Queen sent you! The owner is very nice professional! Glad to have Rons Fish House in the area!

The food is horrible! Please don't waste your money. Even the cornbread was horrible

The food was amazing! The crispy fish, delicious mac and cheese, and yams were top-notch. The green beans could have been fresher, but overall the dining experience was excellent. The prices were a bit higher than I anticipated, but that's to be expected for quality soul food.

Today is Good Friday and I asked the chef personally about the chocolate cake. He said it was made yesterday, but my 84-year-old mother said it was old. The cake was 80% discolored and hard. I ordered a fish sandwich, but it only had a few small pieces of fish. On the bright side, I did enjoy two good pieces of fish. Unfortunately, they refused to refund my money for the cake, even though it was old. My advice is to serve slices of fish instead of small pieces.
