Half Moon - Dobbs Ferry

An unforgettable brunch experience last Sunday at Half Moon. We have gone to this restaurant for four years, and they have gradually improved in service and quality. It is above all a cocktail and appetizer experience for us, but will think for dinner to see if this has risen. The restaurant offers magnificent views of the Hudson River with a view of the Tappanzee Bridge and a distant view of Manhattan. It is a great location for a restaurant. You can literally enter the river from the terrace. Our food was delicious and everyone at the party had a great experience. Upbeat and lively ambience complement the aesthetics of the restaurant. The view from inside reminds me of the food on a cruise in view of the view of the river. We will make an experience in the raw bar. Overall a pleasant and improved culinary experience at Half Moon.

Beautiful restaurant on the Hudson! We just happened upon it when exploring the area. Arrived at Happy Hour. so HaPpY! The food, drinks, service views are fabulous. Lots of outdoor seating. The inside is gorgeous too! We returned again the next day to repeat the the evening again!!

Service was excellent, appetizers were outstanding! Great views and an incredible atmosphere. We were a little disappointed with the main course, my wife had the salmon and it was bland and dry. I had the halibut which was good, but not great. We might try it again as everything else was excellent.

This place is right on Hudson river and the sunset views are amazing. Great place for date night and romantic dinners. Large dining area both inside and outside. Food is decent, interesting and presented well. They have some good wines on their wine list. Desserts were not too heavy and coffee lightly spiced. Service was attentive but could be more knowledgeable about the food and wines. For the price point they could be a little more refined.

Beautiful atmosphere with a menu that has something for everyone! Every dish sounded so delicious it was hard to pick. Jose was a wonderful server and made great recommendations. I chose the Grilled Shrimp and I was not disappointed!! The dish was cooked to perfection and was so filling!
