I really enjoyed the skewers here and the corn noodles! It's a good casual spot to come with friends for drinks while snacking on lamb skewers (the porkbelly is great as well). I didn't see it on the menu but I asked the server if they had tangsuyuk (deep fried pork in a sweet sauce) and it was my favorite! The breading is thicker and more chewy than crispy but it fit my personal taste perfectly. It paired very well with the salty meats so I definitely recommend asking the server about it. Not a place I would go to for a hearty meal but a great restaurant to drink at and chit chat with friends.
These skewers were absolutely delicious! We ordered lamb, beef, tripe, pork skin, kidney, lamp intestines, steamed buns, and lamb soup. We also had rice (not shown because, well, it's just rice). Everything was incredibly tasty and affordable! My favorites were the beef and the lamb soup. They offered us a spice mix to enhance the meat, which was smoky, spicy, and extremely addictive. When we ordered the steamed buns, I thought they would just be grilled, but they came with a drizzle of condensed milk that was a delightful surprise! The condensed milk was delicious, but if you're not in the mood for something sweet, you might want to skip it. Our rice was also freshly made, served hot and perfect alongside the lamb soup. The only thing I personally didn't enjoy was the tripe, but that's just because I'm not a big fan of it. My friends really enjoyed the tripe, though. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal, and I'm so glad I had the chance to try this place!
One of my favorite late-night spots! They stay open late and have impressive Chinese BBQ spits. I absolutely love their sweet and sour pork (guo bao rou). The sauce is fantastic, and the coating isn’t too thick, which I appreciate. Another standout dish is the la pi, a delicious clear noodle. The service was good as well. The only downside is that I find it a bit pricey for my taste.
This is an impressive restaurant where you can experience authentic Chinese barbecue. The lamb skewers are a must-try; they taste just as delicious as those in Mainland China. The cleanliness of the place could use some improvement, and there was only one waiter, which made the wait quite lengthy. However, he was very friendly.
