Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Was there on 9/10/21. When we received our carry out I check to make sure that it was correct bc the first time I went there a few weeks back they got my order wrong. So I checked and it was wrong again. Went back a they were gracious about making it right. Unfortunate when they brought the correct items out rather fast) I was concerned. How was it cooked so fast? Anyway got home and my suspicions were correct. The chicken they gave me as a replacement was Old, as was the potatoes they were hard). The fish was broken and not fit to give anyone. I ended up not eating ANYTHING. My husband ate his food and we decided we wouldn’t return. The first and second time going they got our order wrong so it won’t be a third.

Last night took family for sons birthday. Our server was wonderful. But our food was horrible. The fried chicken was greasy seemed like it was made days ago. Meatloaf was mushy and cold the chicken pot pie was just nasty.. the catfish was at least somewhat edible. Just so disappointed .wasted hundred bucks

I've been here a lot. never a single problem or complain. but recently I tried the maple bacon grilled huhn omg i must admit its addictive! I felt like I could eat it at least 4 times a week if not more. just to say it's a must try! we had an amazing server called brenda, whose pulsating personality is only absolutely contagious. If they can't say it, I will definitely return.

They were pretty busy when we were there, so we had about 15 minutes waiting before we were sitting. they have a load outside of the dining area, so we don't have the wait bc that we just burst. After we sat on the seat, the waitress informed us that they were shortened so they were behind us. I appreciated her honesty. she was still very attentive while we were waiting and eating was hot and tasty when it finally came about 20-30 minutes later.)

Got me seated in a timely fashion without hesitation got my drink order. These women were definitely running to get their tables served so the extra wait time was understandable. The food was delicious and even though I'm not much of a Cracker Barrel fan. It seemed like some of the menu items had been taken off making it a little easier to sort through.
