There is a hidden gem over the train tracks in Douglasville, Georgia called The Vine Cafe Market. When you are invited to the restaurant, you will find an electronic, artistic atmosphere with an urban feeling. Right is handmade jewelry. A little further down paintings by contemporary artists draw the wall. Next down, homemade cosmetics that will make you cooler with fresh pressed lemonades and now you are at the counter where you can order delicious meals from local ingredients. Eat for the soul. Raging Cajun bowl, chicken waffles, or maybe some vegan. You have something for you. Give this restaurant your patronage benefits from the farmers and artists of the community. It is a win-win with a delicious twist. So stop.
The Vine was a beautiful vintage but chic place. I couldn't try the wine, but the quinoa dish was delicious. We added grilled chicken to the dishes that added additional taste. This place got 4 stars because they're kind of slow, waited about 30 minutes before we got our food and there was no one in there. Apart from that, eating is a great place for a healthy option.
Another great find in Downtown Douglasville. We really stumbled upon it. We had a fantastic Sunday brunch; the French toast with chicken sausage and chicken and waffles were outstanding! They are not usually open on Sundays or Mondays, but are trying out Sunday brunch on occasional Sundays. You should definitely give them a try.
