Food isn't as big as I last remember, a few people at the table are still hungry. The service was good although the food took a little while to come out. I had the wet burrito and it was decent although some of the ingredients tasted like they had sat around for a bit. If in the area would try but don't expect 5 stars.

Although I did not meet a Michigan wife this year, I had another memorable New Year's Eve visit. The deep fried sampler is a great way to ease that pain.

In the winter time, there isn't much around here that is open, but this place was hopping! We stopped by as a party of 4, and we couldn't even get a table, but we sat at the bar, which was fine. Drinks were very well priced, and we ended up ordering a large pizza (it was HUGE! , burgers, and a chicken philly sandwich. My bacon burger was huge, but the patty itself was nothing to gush about. However, it was a really thick burger and I couldn't even finish it all. I traded out my fries for tater tots and they were amazing. : Pizza was good, decent amount of pepperoni, and thin crust was nice and crunchy. There also was a fireplace going, which was nice. The bartender was very attentive to us and service was pretty good! All in all a good place to go if you are n the area, tends to attract an older population, we were the youngest people there. It also is right next to the snowmobile trails, so it can be a good place to stop and grab something to eat!

Everything you'd want in a lake town joint- refreshing, ice cold beer, good food, friendly, comfortable atmosphere. A must when you're in town.
