Thai First - Downers Grove

Great atmosphere with amazing food! I gladly drive from far away anytime I'm craving pad Thai. Everything I've gotten here is delicious!Vegetarian options: I love that there are so many vegetarian options!

Went there today for lunch. Luckily, Got additional protein for free! Found a bug in my pad thai. I informed the hostess and she apologized. Offered to make me another dish on the house of course. Thanks but no thanks. Never going back.

Rude hostess (old lady who is usually there). Doesn't acknowledge requests and is outright rude. Food quality has gone down so much. Service is so slow as they are busy making carry out orders and make dine-in customers wait. After waiting 45 minutes, the food was not even warm. Waste of money!

The pad se ew is particularly bland here. I’ve had the pad Thai and it was OK. The food is OK, but it is a bit stingy on the meat. If you like Thai and are in the area, this is fine, but I definitely would not travel just to eat here.Food: 3/5

Our waiter was nice. My pad thai had an overpowering charred taste. It was mostly edible but not that great. I would not recommend or go again.
