The Pizza Cave - Dripping Springs

I really want to give this place 5 stars because most of the food is excellent. However, the main issue is the flimsy pizza. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the pizza was difficult to eat without folding it or using a fork. It had great flavor; I just wish it had been crispier and better made.

We arrived at 6:10 PM and waited in line to get our pizza. After paying (and, unfortunately, tipping), we waited until 6:30 PM, only to find out that they hadn't even started making our pizzas and that our order hadn't printed out. Why doesn't the ticket print after check-in? We then waited an additional 20 minutes for our pizzas after they acknowledged their mistake. It was a challenging situation, especially with two children under 4 waiting for their pizza for 40 minutes. While they were nice and apologized, it would have been considerate to offer something to keep the kids occupied. On a positive note, I’m adding two stars because the pizza was really good once we finally got to eat it.

A fantastic pizza place just five minutes from home—couldn’t ask for anything better! We absolutely love Pizza Cave. The dough they use isn’t too sweet, making their garlic knots and pizza rolls a real treat. You won’t be disappointed! Even though the staff is quite young, they are incredibly friendly and respectful, which is refreshing these days. I had the pizza rolls yesterday, and I’m already looking forward to having them again soon!

One of my favorite places to go! the owners are so nice. the personal is great! I love that they rent many local children. always great service. eating is incredible! the black costumes is amazing! the calzone, cesar salat and pizza are delicious! they know Italian food. the terrace also has a great view of the sunset.

Kudos today for fixing something off the menu. My husband is undergoing chemo treatments and what he had chosen for lunch was no longer on menu. Chef stepped up and prepared something comparable. Thank you!!
