Nice house-style cook. Try the cheeseburger with bacon, beef-dip sandwiches, all breakfast, and don't miss the homemade buttercups. The prices are incredibly reasonable to lower limit.
This is a wee gem of a restaurant just outside Dryden on the way to the highway south to the US. Family owned and run, the food is all made from scratch and the owner is there to serve and chat pretty much every day!...They are open Tuesdays through Saturday, and have a good variety on the menu of North American style food. They make the best Hot Beef, Hot Turkey, and Hot Pork sandwiches in the area. Home made desserts are featured, and one can ask for modifications to pretty much everything offered on the menu. Homey inside the place is small seating at about 3-4 booths and about 4-5 tables. In the warmer weather there is also outside seating in front of the windows on either side of the entry door. The bathroom is very in home type rather than sterile commercial and it is kept clean as can be! The coffee is really good and is a def need for any customer who comes and is into that beverage. Love to go to this place. Have never had to wait for a seat and have also only ever had great food at Springwater! They have a store as well so there are items to be purchased outside of the restaurant menu!
Located by the lake, this charming restaurant serves delicious home-cooked meals at affordable prices. The walleye dinner is a must-try, but you can't go wrong with any breakfast or lunch option on the menu. Be sure to check their early closing time if you plan to dine in the evening. The desserts made on-site are worth indulging in. With friendly service from the owners, longtime residents of Dryden, this cozy spot is definitely worth a visit.
Located just outside of Dryden on Highway 594, this restaurant is part of a family-run business that also includes a park with trailer sites and a small store. The menu is simple and offers delicious homemade food cooked by the owner. Seating is limited but comfortable, and the restaurant is open 5 days a week, closed on Sundays and Mondays. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it a great place to socialize or enjoy some privacy. The washrooms are easily accessible and have a homey feel. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem and I would recommend it to anyone looking for great homemade cooking in a cozy setting. It's a perfect stop for a bite to eat before heading to the USA, coming back from the USA, or just for a relaxing meal with friends or family. I look forward to stopping by on my bike rides this year for a break.
