Cafe Sol Rio - Dublin

I purchased a Spa day pass and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic Pool and Jacuzzi. There are also comfortable sun loungers to relax on. I highly recommend it. - Louisa

This restaurant is located in a very elegant establishment in a lovely, picturesque location. The service is excellent and the rooms are luxurious, spacious, and comfortable. However, the electrical outlets need to be replaced as they are in poor condition. The pool and fitness center are well-maintained and very enjoyable.

Great stay on our first trip to Dublin! Beds were very comfortable, bathroom had great water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good, lots of choices, even some nice gluten free muffins and croissants. For the Amaricans...yes they have A/C and washcloths, but no top sheets...they use duvets and change with new guests...slippers and robes were nice, especially on the cold tile on bathroom floors. This is not very close to downtown area...you need a cab, bus, or car to get to all the downtown ammenities...with that said, it was nice and quiet-away from the late night noise of the downtown area.

Beautiful hotel with friendly accommodating staff. Room was clean and a great size. Breakfast was well presented and delicious. We had lunch in the lounge area which was very pleasant with great service. Small things but the downsides were, there was nobody to take our bags on arrival, we had ordered a package that included champagne and chocolates on arrival which we had to ask for because they were forgotten. The pool attendant spent more time away from the pool than around it, considering we had a small child swimming I would have thought it's a requirement to have someone there all the time. I'd expect these things to be routine for a 5 star hotel. All in all a nice stay but definitely not special.

I went for a cocktail professional event. The nibs were super tasty. The bathrooms were fabulous. Really nice place for professional events.
