Glovers Alley By Andy Mcfadden - Dublin

Great dinner at Glovers Alley last night. We had so much luck getting a table for a late dinner on the same day, very accommodating. Top service, great location and excellent food. Mathieu and his staff were very attentive, but they provided a relaxed and friendly service in the evening. Well balanced wine list, with some great classics, some cults and also some unique bottles from emerging wine growing areas. The tasting menu was just as close to perfection as you can get, great importance for flavors and balance. One of my top 5 culinary experiences ever, and my guess is that they will soon get a second star. Well done guys

Very disappointed with our night. Food was delicious, but the up selling of additions to the meal, the 25 euro on water when we weren't told the water was extra, nor asked if we wanted any extra was disgraceful and the noise level made for difficult conversation. Would not recommend as there are much better Michelin stared restaurants in Dublin. Overall not what we expected from an expensive night out.

5 stars is nothing compared to our experience! Million likes and stars to the chef , and most of all to service ! Absolutely fabulous
