Írjon visszajelzéstI love Graingers for lunch. The service is friendly, quick and efficient. The food is always solid and well prepared and presented. However, they brew their tea, its one of the best in Dublin.
Fodd, drink, friendly staff, everything perfect!! Thank you!
I had a couple of cracking pints of Guinness then ordered food. The bangers mash were absolutely delicious very generous portion indeed. The food service in this pub since the Grainger family have taken over is superb. Forgot to write a review last week after having my Friday curry which was again fantastic. Due to the very generous portions here no capacity to have post meal pints tho
Witnessed either the owner or manager (who was a man) act aggressively and in a completely inappropriate manner towards a female member of staff. Also, there was very little to no social distancing taking place, and in fact the female staff member seemed to be the only person wearing a mask. The owner was walking into the female staff member, physically pushing her with his chest while shouting at her. Completely unacceptable behaviour in any circumstance. Would not go again.
Review of a restaurant I haven’t actually been to, though it’s no more than a 10 minute walk from where I live... When Ireland went into lockdown, Grainger's Hanlon's Corner took to ferrying pints out to thirsty patrons, and at weekends, supplying hearty meals. We ordered delivery of two on Sunday with a pint) and can’t recommend it enough... Listen, if as we are) you’re used to nouvelle cuisine with artful teetering towers of tiny quantities of expensive ingredients, that isn’t at all what Grainger's supplies; first of all, it isn’t expensive €15 a groaning plate inclusive of dessert), and secondly servings are unbelievably copious. The food is what I’d call good Irish country hotel fare. I had rib of beef, overdone by international chef standards, but tasty and tender, with stuffing, cabbage, carrots, and three kinds of potato; chum had corned beef, same trimmings. I had apple tart, and chum chocolate fudge cake. Here’s the deal: you pay online and the food comes in the kind of box they use in Chinese/Indian take-always. We thought a single meal would have done the pair of us. As it was, we ate what we could, and made soup for lunch from spare veg one day, and cold meet sandwiches another. Hope they keep the service after lockdown ends, and will order again.
