This is by far one of the best takeaways in Dublin. The food is always so fresh and hot on arrival! You can tell all the produce and meats used are high quality. I've tried numerous dishes from tandoori chicken and prawns, butter chicken, korma etc. and have never once been disappointed! The staff are very friendly over the phone/in person and are always more than happy to tailor a dish to your specification.
The smell. Nomnomnomnom. So important for curry houses to have a smell so good it will undermine every shred of willpower! Any curry from here has been top notch and provides much comfort in this Baltic weather.
Ever since Rasoi opened, it has become my default Indian takeaway. Everything is cooked fresh by the chefs, clearly visible behind the counter. They have a great selection of vegetarian dishes, available in both half and full portions, plus daily specials. Dishes have always been ready when promised (either collecting or delivering) and service has always been excellent.<br/ <br/ I've sampled quite a few dishes from their menu at this stage and nothing has disappointed. Standouts include the paneer lababdar (vegetarian cheese in a delicious creamy tomato masala sauce), nalli ghost (slow-cooked lamb shank in a rich, coconut sauce) and the Goan prawn curry (a fragrant seafood curry). <br/ <br/ Highly recommended for tasty, high quality Indian food.
Amazingly good Indian food. Portions are just enough for one but well prepared. The chicken chunks are generously added.<br/ <br/ They have a chef special everyday which includes a (chicken, usually) main dish with rice (plain or pilau) for €9.50, which is a nice deal. <br/ <br/ Must try <br/ Chicken Kadai<br/ Chicken Madras (super flavorful)
