Free comedy shows take place every Wednesday night, and there's a monthly event at Club 84.

Great venue! There really aren’t any bad spots in the house. I do wish it wasn’t necessary to navigate through all the smoke to get there, but that’s to be expected at a casino. However, that's not the reason I didn't give a full 5 stars. The only downside was during a recent show (Jewel), the sound at the bar was quite loud. This could be frustrating for those who wanted to listen to the performance, as Jewel had to pause and address the crowd to quiet things down.

Some aspects are great, while others miss the mark. Do your homework in advance and brace yourself for a wave of criticism about the small river town of Dubuque. Depending on the activity and the amount involved, it can definitely push the boundaries of what's considered shock-worthy.

The band was very good. The main bar was very busy, with very long waits. Went to a side bar with little to no wait was stopped by a very rude staff on a Power Trip . She would not let us get a beverage from the bar. Bad customer service loss of revenue. As we walked away, 2 other people shared with us their bad customer service experience from same staff. Not sure if company has contunious customer service training or not, but it would be beneficial!!!

Seen Jan Dean this afternoon. They were wonderful but, they only played an hour. No encore even. What's up with that? All that we spent on tickets an hour? So disappointing.
