Írjon visszajelzéstI wanted to see the Super Bowl. Tampa! Loved food, reuben egg rolls are a real thing and their delicious. The desert cookie w/ice was just like our juicy burgers. They only want pomegranate margaritas! No problem.
We visited The Filament for a quick bite while visiting Diamond Jo Casino. The wait to sit was awful. It was only myself and my husband in line. Four members of staff walked by us numerous times in ten minutes without even saying a word or making eye contact. There were several visible tables available, and we even watched two of them stand chatting while changing channels on the TV. Still, ignoring us. Once seated our water and soda came fast, and our order was taken. Since we were just grabbing a quick bite we shared the Bourbon sliders and cheese curds. We were not disappointed with the food at all. The sliders were cooked perfectly, served hot, and every morsel was delicious. The cheese curds were classier than what I am used to, and I'm from Wisconsin. They were flavorful and hot. Overall, very good value, and excellent flavor. Staff was poor.
The waitress Linda was great food was excellent I used my bank card and they over charged me by $12.00 because I did not add a tip we paid the waitress cash. So watch your payment.this was on 10/31/2021
My wife and I stopped for lunch at noon on Saturday 5/14/22. There is little on the menu for vegetarians so she asked for a cobb salad less bacon and chicken. Granted, a Cobb Salad without meat is pretty bland but this consisted of some chunks of yellow cheese, a chopped egg, and some romaine lettuce. I ordered rueben eggrolls that really didn't have much flavor, or I should say good flavor and the thousand Island dip had an odd taste. My Filament burger (just a cheese burger) came with some bread and butter pickles on the side (which I put on and took off due to the taste), some onion, and lettuce which was discolored. The burger had no taste and no seasoning. We left 80% of our meals untouched. On a brighter note, we had a decent server, my fries were tasty, and I did enjoy a good Potosi beer on tap. However, we have no desire to go back. That's 30 minutes and $40 we'll never get back.
I frequent the Diamond Jo on a weekly basis at minimum, but I 've never tried the food at The Filament. Tonight I brought my girlfriend to join me with the intention of grabbing food to-go from the Filament as we head out. Granted I had zero idea they closed at 8pm on a Thursday, we stood at the entrance at 7:55pm looking at the menu. My girlfriend went to the restroom as I waited for her to return so we could order food. At 7:59pm she returns and we make our last glance at the menu. At this point the shorter server with gelled blonde hair asked us to step aside (we obliged) and she promptly closed the gates in front of us. When we asked if we 're not allowed in for some reason she said yeah, we close at 8. I looked at my phone and it was exactly 8pm. You really asked us to move, having seen us looking over the menu for a good deal of time, so that you could close the gates in front of us and tell us to leave? Amazing customer service. I imagine that 's great for word of mouth and growing the brand. In my extensive years of customer service and multi-unit restaurant management, I would have made the easy decision had I seen this from one of my employees. Apparently we will not ever try food from here. Very sad that one bad egg ruins the general perception of the bunch that put in their time making the restaurant a welcoming experience. Very disappointed.
