Írjon visszajelzéstHad a meal last night. Cannot question the service or food and the prices are very reasonable. One extremely annoying issue was when they came to collect payment for the bill and we were told they were not accepting card payments. There was no warning on the door to tell us this when we came in and one member of our party only had a credit card. The rest of us proceeded to the nearest cash point and when we returned we refused to pay a tip as we were all quite annoyed. Why do restaurants do this. If it’s forced upon them be honest and let people go to the cash point before starting the meal. I would go again but I would call to make sure cards are acceptable first.
Over the past 30 years I’ve had many many Baltis and this was the best tasting one I’ve had. The staff were English but excellent but the chefs were Indian. Service was quick.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! As a woman with nut allergies, I have always had to avoid Indian food when eating out or settle for an omelette. However, the owner of this restaurant took the time to come out and speak to me personally, reassuring me about what dishes were safe for me to eat. I ended up trying the chicken Dopiaza, which was the most delicious meal I have ever had! It was such a relief to enjoy a meal without the worry of having an allergic reaction. If you have a nut allergy like me, you will understand how important this is. I highly recommend supporting local businesses like this one, and I will definitely be returning in the future!
We have used the Balti in Kingswinford many times and it is consistently good. Our meal tonight was delicious with Tandoori fish starter and we both had different meals which were equally good. Staff were great with good service and nothing too much trouble. It is very good value and hard to beat for an enjoyable evening out. They are not licenced so take your own drinks and it is cash only.
I recently tried the Garlic Chili Chicken at a restaurant across the road called The Cross, and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. I decided to give it a try after having a couple of beers, and I'm glad I did.
