Papa Luca - Dullstroom

Papa Luca's, situated next to the rose garden and the candy store, is a hidden gem that offers charming details like pet bowls outside. The service is warm and personal, and the Italian cuisine is delightful without being overly sophisticated. (Check out the photos for reference).

During our overnight stay in the city, we sought a dinner recommendation from Dave Gunns at Wild Over Whisky. It’s true what they say: trust the locals! This restaurant wasn’t a trendy, overhyped spot; rather, it focused on serving delicious food. If that’s not the primary reason to dine out, I’m not sure what is. Be sure to try the lamb and the peppered filet. We can talk more about our experience over dessert later!
