Lubys Cafeteria - Duncanville

The food was good. The servers were pleasant and the waiter was attentive. This Luby's was in strong contrast to that on Hampton. The service goes quickly to the Hampton Cafeteria. Someone has to go over there and teach them courtesy, especially the Spanish cash register.

Not too bad but could have been better. Took way too long to get through the line. By the time I got to my table some of my food was cold. My meat was at least still pretty warm and tasted good. The spinach was nasty but black-eyed peas were good. My server was very nice and did a good job. Over all I’ll give it a four star, better than a three but really not quit a four but close enough.

Luby is an excellent choice for anyone craving a home-cooked meal. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, along with a wide array of desserts and beverages. The location is convenient, and the service is outstanding.

We were pleasantly surprised by the significant improvement at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, from the salad bar to the checkout, and they were always smiling and cheerful. The restrooms were conveniently located, and the food was quite good. This represents a remarkable change from the unpleasant experiences we had in the past. It seems like there must be new owners in charge!

The restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. The young lady at the checkout was very friendly. I had soup and salad for lunch, but I wasn't aware that I needed to pick a piece of bread, so she kindly reminded me. The food was consistent with what I’ve always had, which is a good thing. The baked potato salad was delightful, and the greens in my salad were fresh and not spoiled at all.
