The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of German dishes, with a special Schnitzel featured each day. The meal comes with delicious homemade soup and bread rolls.
Slow service, mediocre food quality. Still the tired decor of the former Schwaben Inn with the same menu. Hopefully the new restaurant, which is replacing Nostalgia and is not yet open has something different to offer.
The dishes are excellent bavarian meals. If you like that style, you will love Nostalgia. The decor is older, with turned spindles everywhere, but that is what gives it charm. The only thing they need is more cuckoo clocks and maybe some bavarian wall paintings. The food is similar to Black Forest or Zum Linser. Perfect pork or chicken schnitzel, authentic red cabbage and spaetzle. The borscht soup was fantastic as good or better than Baba's or Oma's! The wait staff are some of the friendliest I have ever met and I go to dinner 60+ times per year. We have yet to have a large gathering at the restaurant but I suspect it would be great. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have enough patrons to serve beer on tap, but try the Krombacher Pils for traditional tasting brew.Prost!
We visited this restaurant sept 3/206 with our friends, this place needs an update but the food is still very good and cheap. the only thing is when up order wine by the glass you do not get very much not even a quarter, you have to ask to put some wine in the glass for the price you are paying. other than that the food is good low in price. Just needs to be updated a little. one thing more closed on Mondays
