The Lord Byron - Dundas

A lovely restaurant with an intimate feel to it. You feel special from the moment you walk in the door and the service is excellent. Fantastic food and can be topped with the added bonus of items being made fresh at your table. We tend to go here for date night for a special occasion as it is a bit pricey but overall a lovely experience and great food.

Great steak restaurant that has been in Waterdown for many years. If you love steak then you will love this restaurant . Service is always great . Thank you Lord Byron for a excellent dinner.

The meals that this restaurant offers are distinct and diverse, the steak was delicious and cooked in a special way, enjoyed with friends.

This is likely the best fine dining in Waterdown. The have a broad menu of steaks and seafood, aggressively price with exceptional service and presentation The wine selection, food and service were all exceptional but a little over priced which is possibly why they had only 50% filled at 7:30 on a Saturday night. This place would be filled every night if they backed off about 20% on their prices. Most entres were $35 to $99.Great presentation by Sam the maitre DBill

My husband and I have been to Lord Byron's many many times. We visited this past week and were extremely disappointed to see that they no longer put out the plate of feta cheese, pickles and olives. You still get the garlic bread, but none of that other tasty stuff. They also no longer offer feta with your baked potato. Maybe it was the disappointment of no more feta, but we overall just didn't seem to enjoy the food the way we used to. The vegetables were beyond bland and the broccolini and asparagus was bitter. I know they are an old school steak house and we always loved that, but I think it's time they revamped some items. it's not often that I walk away from a $200 dinner and think, I could've made that better at home.....but this time I could've and it would've been better and more flavourful. I am sad to say that I don't think we will return. There are too many new restaurants in Hamilton that doing wonderful things with food and don't cost $40 for an entree.
