Quick service and reasonable prices; also a great selection of sandwiches and other stuff in you're not feeling like breakfast food.

I guess Dundas people need to get out more? I kid, I kid Dundas is a wonderful town.

Interesting looking establishment and decided to stop in for dinner. Family type and the setting was very retro - almost went looking for the juke box while sitting in the booth. Order our meal and decided on salad as a side instead of home fry's. Ask and they said no problem. Fried liver with onions with a side salad and hot roast beef was good. Very basic serving, meat, vegetables and one other side. Order at the cashier and the food was delivered to the table. Very friendly atmosphere.

The Valley Charcoal is not fancy but the food is good and reasonably priced. Essentially, it's old style greasy spoon breakfast restaurant. You order and pay for your food at the cash. Wait staff bring it to your table (formica of course). You get a bottomless cup of coffee. If your idea of breakfast is eggs, ham or sausage or bacon, hash browns, toast and fruit salad, you've found it.
