Had blackened catfish with crawfish sauce an it was AMAZING.

I absolutely loved this place! My wife and I were staying at the casino and decided to explore the area. I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was exceptional. It's a fantastic choice for a date night.

The sign out front proclaiming "fine dining" may be weathered and worn, but it certainly isn't misleading. I just experienced the best meal in quite some time. The blackened catfish served over grits with succotash was simply fantastic. The onion rings looked tempting, but the shrimp appetizer was absolutely to die for. Don't miss out on the butter, herbs, and fresh bread—they were all amazing. A special mention goes to our delightful waitress; the business guests with us were so impressed they would have offered her a job on the spot if they could!

The food was excellent, but the service was extremely slow. It’s the only decent restaurant in the area. However, I returned two weeks ago and found that under the new ownership, it was terrible. There was complete confusion among the staff, and half of my party ended up leaving. What a shame! I hope they can sort things out soon.

Glad Kathryn's is back open. Skillet Shrimp is amazing. Great steaks too.
