Golden Crown - Dundee City

Typically a decent dining experience, but on a recent visit, the food took over two hours to arrive and was disappointingly late. The chips were served cold and inedible, while the chicken wings were also cold and needed to be reheated. The beef and chicken curry mains were both served cold and required reheating. The beef was overcooked and tough, while the chicken was decent. Unfortunately, there was no apology for the tardiness from the owner of the restaurant.

Ordered off Justeat, was told delivery would be 1:30 hours, which was fine we didn’t mind waiting. Waited 2 hours, tried to call the restaurant and no answer, we then got an email to say our order was cancelled due to lack of delivery drivers. Ridiculous customer service.

Love this local take away near my mum's. The whole family use the Golden Crown and the staff are always friendly. The food here is really tasty, they have a great variety and the vegetarian tofu options are awesome. The portions are generous and the price is great. Definitely worth a visit!
