In town from SLC and lookin LFG for coffee. My buddy Max brought me here and was pleasantly surprised! Amazing coffee, great snacks! Well worth it.
My daughter and I love 9th Bar. We go there often and We always enjoy the coffee and the service. It's also a great atmosphere.
9th Bar Espresso: Dunedin, FL 7.2/10 okay so there were quite a few different thoughts (i gave it the highest rating of a 9 buttttt everyone else did not agree . it was overall not spacious so ya not very big but they had a YOLO MENU WHICH IS SO COOL an option on said menu was that 's what you get where the barista just makes you whatever he wants to make you and it is a SURPRISE like are you KIDDING? i am an enneagram 7, how am i not supposed to love that? and yes the coffee was delicious but my fellow peers felt that the vibe was just not the move as it was a little dark/different i guess you could say? the barista did not come out to talk to us which was a boo cause extroversion and community ya know? tea selection was pretty small so that 's like eh? but ALSO THEY HAD A FAKE ESPRESSO MACHINE FOR CHILDREN AND THAT IS BEAUTIFUL (got me kinda in the feels and ya the decorations are kinda like what? but that 's how i feel people sometimes feel about me so it works and i kinda felt appreciated on a personal level. and oh don 't let me forget! the menu on a skateboard deck? that is epic to the upmost definition. if you 've read this far you are a true fan, thank you for all da followers. for all the devotion. for all the time you 've spent reading this. love you all.
First... They do NOT do pour over coffees. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about, but they don't do pour overs. I asked specifically for that and was told they don't. Second... I had a latte with oat milk and it was good. The seating was ample and spaced out. Both indoors and outdoors. If you know what you want and don't need to interact with the barista, it seems it'll be great for most things on the menu. Third... But if you have to ask a question if the short, bearded baseball capped guy at the counter, be prepared for condescension. I asked for an explanation of one of the drinks and asked a couple follow up questions so I could know if I would like the drink, but was met with a condescending attitude. I wouldn't have minded if it were from someone who knew more about the topic than I did and my questions were bad ones. But he didn't and the attitude would have been inappropriate anyway. With choices like Tukro down the street, but closed on Wednesdays (today) currently, I won't be coming here again. Removed a star because I received negativity from someone affiliated with the cafe. Poor customer service is more important than a product you can get so many other places.
