Cafe Alfresco - Dunedin

Casual and friendly bistro on the main road of Dunedin. They offer light bites, comfort food, international cuisine and more. During our visit we chose healthy options. The salads were fresh, tasty and big. We tried the Asian shrimp salad $15.50) with mixed greens, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers that were dipped with large shrimps and crispy sommes and were then exaggerated with Thai basil vinaigrette. Very refreshing! The flowery chicken sowing salad $14.99) was also very delicious. The chicken was very tasty and delicate. The fresh ingredients served in Burgundy Vinaigrette and pollinated with walnuts and blue cheese were a perfect combination of sweet and salty flavors. Delish! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, especially our server Amy. She was very attentive and helpful. Our experience was good. We had a nice casual lunch on Friday afternoon at Cafe Alfresco, while we enjoy the beautiful city of Dunedin.

Great place on Dunedin Trail. The food was good, but when we came in, we felt like we were harassing her. She was great. Good menu selection.

I've been here for 10 years and never a disappointment. Eat always delicious and it goes on the Pinellas Trail so you can drive your bike here or your golf cart!

Our first time there and it was absolutely amazing. Our server Dan was very helpful in answering my questions. The food was excellent. We had Feta alfresco as an appetizer, my husband had the urban sandwich that was enormous, son had fish and chips, and I had salad with black salmon.

Only tried the blackened grouper sandwich but it was a 5 star sandwich. The grouper was so fresh, cooked perfectly and the seasoning was tasty. My parents who live down here said it?s the best grouper sandwich they have ever had.
