Perfect early morning local Cafe to get the morning started right. Fantastic service, great food, and a beautiful little outdoor location.
The skillet hash was beyond greasy. The biscuit was dry and it had a hair in it! (Zoom in you'll see it) ???? I brought it to the attention of our waitress. She offered another biscuit, no thanks! ???????? They didnt even remove the $1 charge for thebiscuit. The portions also got smaller. My husband's salad was kid sized. I could have eaten at home and had a beautiful mealfor what I spent here. I try to support local businesses but this is sad. Ps. There were so many ants all over the tablecrawling all over me. ??????????? I gave 2 stars for friendly wait staff.
All I can say is wow! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic, and the cold brew coffee is absolutely delicious (and I’m quite particular about my coffee—I don’t care for Starbucks). The seating area is outdoors, so keep that in mind! The space is mostly enclosed, and there’s plenty of shade from large trees and umbrellas. There’s also a small area in the back with big trucks for kids to play on. We’ve visited twice and have really enjoyed it both times!
Once our server finally arrived, they were very apologetic and took care of us promptly. As for the salad, I understand that times are tough, and corners might be cut, but I would have preferred a salad featuring full shrimp rather than just two shrimp that were sliced in half to appear as four. Additionally, the shrimp were small, overcooked, and lacking flavor. Otherwise, the salad had potential. On a brighter note, my friend's Eggs Benedict looked amazing, and the cappuccino was excellent. Overall, some small improvements would have greatly enhanced our experience, especially since it was our first time there.
One serving is enough food for two and a half meals. The restaurant offers beautiful views both indoors and outdoors. During our visit, there was some noisy machinery outside, so the indoor space provided a nice escape. Whether you're visiting for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, the portions are generous and the food is expertly crafted. The quiche, sausage gravy with biscuits, seafood omelettes, muffins, and fresh fruit, along with hot tea and coffee, were all delicious on the day we dined there.
