The food is reminiscent of true Quebec meals tourtiere, quiche and maple lattes. The plate I got was the tourtiere, which was delicious, but not as good as the egg sausage sandwich my girlfriend had. The meat was well season with spices I have never tried before, with crispy home made fries and a creamy aioli. Nice place to stop by.
One of my favorite place to eat breakfast or lunch in Dunham. I love to ride my motorcycle, and I love to ride in the area... Which means, during the summer, I'm quite often there. Cute space with big windows and fly screens means eating inside feels like eating outside, and there is a great patio to really eat outside too! Their cheeseburger is pretty solid with sharp cheddar, caramelized onions, arugula, a slice of tomato and a sun-dried tomato mayo. Served with a salad and excellent fries, it's quite satisfying! It's my favorite item on the menu, but they have many other excellent options! Staff is friendly and efficient. I recommend the place if you're in Dunham!
Delightful cafe! Specialties of the house are on display in the ice box to take home or to a party. The breakfast was perfect and the delicious rich, robust coffee will keep us perky on our way to Montreal. So pleased to have found this friendly cafe with abundant street parking for our rig!
My boyfriend and I decided to finally try this place out since it opened about a month ago and we live so close. They did lots of renovations since taking over the building and it looks really nice and refreshed. I had the Mexican shrimp entrée which was really cool looking as well as tasty. For my main meal I had the grilled vegetable Panini, which was also quite tasty, and came with some really good fries as well as a very unique salad. Some of the vegetables (I think they are vegetables) on my salad I could not identify but it was super fresh and delish. The bread on my Panini as well as for my boyfriends burger, however, does not add much to the dish and they should really think of replacing it for something with more flavour. The service could definitely be improved, the waitresses were not as warm and attentive as they could have been but this could just be from lack of experience. The desserts were good, although I'm not sure if they were homemade or store bought. Overall, I'm pretty excited to try other dishes from the menu and definitely advise this place if you were looking to grab something to eat not too expensive while passing by. Also they have a terrasse super close to the road for some good people watching.
Super friendly and unpretentious little restaurant, classic and simple lunches, but of quality! All at a good price.
