Gateway Curries - Durban

This place is better than any curry house in durban. Better that Goudens even. Best dish there is definitely the bunny chow. Mutton, chicken or vegetarian. The bean curry was also superb. A must try.

I used to visit this place a lot when I worked in the area. I 've relocated and it 's been more than 10 years since I have but when I do make an occasional visit the food is just as good as it was then. Food is always freshly prepared, tastes good and the portions are more than enough. What amazed me is that when I moved away in 2008, and I visited them maye a few times after that, and one day I met one of the workers at a hospital and they saw me and said, quarter sugar beans, stoney and chillies pickle that in itself left me speechless they gave me back my order after 4 years. Great place great food.

The food here is great and I love the fact that there are several vegetarian options available. The price does tend to be more on the expensive side for what you are getting but I suppose it's because of the location. I eat here often.
