The Lookout - Durban

This was the second time in this restaurant and again it was a very pleasant experience. Service was great and management seemed to have good control over the staff and the influx of customers. We sat “outside” in a very windy evening, but we were pleasantly surprised and how protected the place was. Also the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and I think the importance of pre-booking can no longer be emphasized for this popular restaurant. The menu had a nice selection of options, although I thought the desert options might have been a bit more creative. Meal was delivered in a fair time and my meal “Pork tomahawk” was different from my usual order, but was really delicious. Very recommended for an ingenious din out

Beautiful view, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and Sunday was my cherry on the summit, only for r95 a huge plate of quality I am in awe. hot served spinach and butternut with cut bark and gamon in gravur, roasted kartoffels and if they think that it, soft wobbles and ja yorkshire pudding. I'm here for a smooth live jazz again. beware to lookout well made.

So an amazing place!! Food never disappoints! The drinks are affordable and the view is absolutely AWESOME!

On our way here today, we read a few bad reviews and got worried that the place has gone down hill. This use to be my moms favourite restaurant after all. But I'm happy to say The Lookout us as good as ever. My uncle was really happy with his Tbone and my ribs were very well prepared. The food was excellent. The only negative comment that I can leave is that the service is a bit lack luster. The waitress could have checked up on us a bit more often. But on the other hand this does leave you feeling like there is no rush to get you out the door. They have great decor with even better views
