Elmo's Diner. - Durham

Love this diner, it's the closest to diners from back up norf as I have experienced thus far. Hubby and I crave some of the comforts of Philly like good diner breakfast with a cup of coffee and this place delivers. I love the pancakes and he the Omelettes. Elmo 's is one of those rare places that deliver what they promise; a comfortable place to visit, have a good meal by your self or with friends, sit at a table, booth for four or just you and a friend. I don 't want to forget 'Counter ' which a tradition for breakfast or any other meal. This is what dine in 's used to be. My favorite is the 'Stuffed French Toast ', but don 't take my word for it, come on out and fiind your own.

The food was high quality and reasonably -priced. All staff were friendly and kind to the guests. Highly recommended local restaurant.

A Durham icon and still the best breakfast in town! The Southwest grits are my absolute favorite thing!

A great menu, deliciously executed. Great service, fast turn around. Will be back!
